Description: The North of Ireland is now a must see for any traveller arriving in Ireland.

This tour enables you to focus on Northern Ireland, the little corner of our motherland so present in world headlines since 1969 but now experiencing a new dawn after an end to the 30 years of conflict, which ended with the Good Friday Agreement 1998.

In the last 15 years, Northern Ireland has become one of Europe's "MUST-SEE" destinations. The capital - Belfast - has been classed as one of the top 10 cities in the world by Lonely Planet.

We introduce you to local guides and fun-loving local characters. Paddywagon has great friends in both the Ulster-Irish and Ulster-British communities and we cannot wait to introduce you to both.

Our overnight stays will be some of the great memories of your European travels. Downtown Belfast is amazing and the glorious glens of Antrim are an absolute Irish paradise with bonnie Scotland in full view 12 miles away across the Irish Sea.

We hike to the famous Rope Bridge (consider crossing for a small fee) and see the eighth wonder of the world, the Giant's Causeway, before a photo-stop at one of Ireland's most haunting castles - Dunluce.

Absolutely fantastic photography awaits you on your award-winning "Essential Walking Tour of Historic Derry" where your local guide will lead you around the City Walls (1613) and see the political murals and the scene of 'Bloody Sunday' in 1972, the tragic event that U2 sing of in 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday".

PADDYWAGON RECOMMENDS:

We recommend you take an optional Black Taxi tour of Belfast and learn from a local taxi driver/guide the story of the conflict in Belfast.

With breathtaking scenery, genuine and warm locals, unspoiled landscapes and a living history, Northern Ireland (or 'Norn Iron' in the beautiful broad local accent) is a real travellers' paradise.

Please Note: We respectfully advise all passengers your tour may operate in either direction -as necessary -night 1 may be in Belfast or Derry and the second night will be in the other City. You will still enjoy the same itinerary, just in reverse!!
