2 Hour Beach and Bog Ride

It combines the coastal and the rural experience: riding by the sea and riding in the Irish countryside.

The first part of your ride takes you along hidden Trawalua beachExperienced riders go for a  canter on the sandy  beach while beginners will go for a relaxing stroll along the strand.   Enjoy spectacular view s of the Atlantic Ocean and Classiebawn Castle towering on a rocky  outcrop in the distance. Then you will follow quiet lane ways and century old bog tracks at the foot of rugged Benbulben Mountain.

You will experience a great variety of scenery in just 2 hours. 

Beach riding for all the family along the Wild Atlantic Way.
We have horses to suit every type of rider big or small, experienced or novice, child or adult.

We specialise in beach rides and even inexperienced riders can enjoy our beach treks and stunning views of Sligo and  Donegal Bay. 

Groups with varying riding experience will be accommodated so everybody can ride at a pace they enjoy. Advanced rider and can enjoy a thrilling canter over miles of sandy beaches. Small children will ride on a lead rein.

For mixed ability groups or beginners, the 1 hour beach ride is ideal. The 2 hour beach and bog-land ride is also "do-able" for beginners and offers a great variety of scenery - seascape and the rural hinterland at the foot of Benbulben mountain.

We supply riding hats and boots. Open 7 days a week all year round. Minimum age: 4 yeas of age.

Activity Type: Horse riding on the beach and over quiet bog tracks.

Opening Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week, all year round

Arrival Times:  First ride each day at 10 am. Treks throughout the day leave on the hour (10,11,12,14,15,16,17 hours). Last 1 hour ride at 5 pm.

Special Requirements: disabled riders catered for on request, depending on level of assistance required, advance notice essential.
